A Full-Body Workout Powered by Live Drums

RitmoFit XP is a 60-minute women’s fitness session that blends dance, martial arts, breathwork and air drumming to a live drummer. Three impact levels, so beginners, seniors and athletes train in the same room.

18 events and class series since 2022 at the Southampton Arts Center, Hamptons Gym Corp, OLA of Eastern Long Island and more. Featured in Newsday and James Lane Post (opens in a new tab).

How it works

What happens in a RitmoFit XP session

Every session is a full-body, bodyweight workout set to live drumming and global rhythms. No equipment, no dance experience, no age limit.

Classes

60 minutes, three levels, one live drummer

Dance, martial arts, breathwork and air drumming, led at three levels at once (high, medium and low impact). You pick your level in the room. Every movement is inspired by a legendary woman from history or myth.

Why women keep coming back

Built so you cannot get it wrong

01

Three levels at once

Three instructors run high, medium and low impact at the same time. Beginners, seniors and athletes train in the same room.

02

The music is live

A drummer sets the pace. The energy changes with the room, not with a playlist.

03

Inspired by legendary women

Every sequence is inspired by a woman from history or myth. Dance, martial arts, breathwork and air drumming, in one class.

04

It is a workout

A full-body bodyweight session built to burn calories and strengthen muscles. Expect to feel it the next day.

What participants say

18 women have left a review. Here are six; the rest are on the Classes & Events page.

“I absolutely loved every moment of the class! RitmoFit XP had three different instructors catering to each level, which made the experience inclusive and engaging. As a senior, I found the movements to be very doable, friendly, and incredibly fun. I highly recommend RitmoFit XP to every woman looking for an enjoyable and empowering fitness experience!”

Nancy StiglichElementary School Teacher

“RitmoFit XP was totally different from anything I’ve done before. I was nervous because I don’t get to workout as often as I’d like and I’m a beginner. But when we got started, I kept pushing myself harder because I was having so much fun throughout the entire set. Having two instructors with different difficulty levels made the experience so comfortable for me and I loved how connected with myself and my femininity it made me feel.”

“I saw Mila Tina’s powerful and inspiring drum performance with the two cool “dancers” at the Pachanga fundraiser for OLA at Bay Street Theater and decided to join in. I like dancing as my main workout, but there isn't much available with the music I listen to. I loved how they only played exciting drums and minimal music without singing. Each set of exercises is short and simple enough for someone in their late 50s who hasn't worked out much, and it felt really great to get a good sweat. I felt comfortable with the friendly and unpretentious crowd.”

“The event was great! I loved that all the moves were not only doable while challenging, they were also empowering. It was a fitness class and motivational class all in one. I highly recommend it!”

Perla BenitezFinancial Professional

“It was an incredible class! From start to finish you feel inspired. I felt powerful, I felt energized- and it was like nothing I’ve ever felt before. I left class thinking about when I can go to the next one!! The community that shows up to RITMOFIT is an extra bonus to meet some amazing new friends!”

Taylor PikePersonal Trainer & Doula

“I had seen RitmoFit XP being promoted on social media before, and when I finally attended a class, I was a bit nervous about keeping up. However, having three different trainers at three different levels made me feel comfortable. This approach allowed me to enjoy the class, feel at ease, and improve my stamina and movement at my own pace.”
